Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Brookhaven, GA. This position involves working in a Level IV/surgical NICU with responsibilities for caring for critically ill neonatal patients. The role requires flexibility for float assignments to other units and includes weekend blocks with at least one holiday shift during the contract period.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, level IV/surgical NICU experience, certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); NRP preferred. Must be tested for drugs along with drug screen (no exceptions). Must have received flu vaccine (religious or medical exemptions not accepted).

- Additional Information: Must be able to work at least one holiday if it falls during the contract period. The position involves caring for neonatal patients with diagnoses such as CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-op conditions. The facility maintains a nicotine-free environment. The candidate must be open to float to other units as needed.
