Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) in Concord, California. This position involves providing exceptional patient care in a Level II trauma emergency department with a bed capacity of 30+ beds. The nurse will work rotating day and evening shifts, with the ability to float as needed within the scope of skill, and will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population in a high-volume community hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating day/evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 07/28/2026.
- Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience, California licensure, BLS certification, ACLS certification, and previous trauma experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required depending on patient care needs, but only within scope of skill.
- Additional Information: The ER serves a patient population of over 35,000 annually, with ratios depending on patient acuity and census as mandated by the state of California. The department utilizes Epic electronic medical record (EMR), and any color scrubs are acceptable; detailed info will be provided on the first day.
