Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician/Operating Room Tech for a facility in Denver, Colorado. This position involves supporting surgical procedures in an acute care setting, with a focus on orthopedics, trauma, and robotics. The role requires active collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and safe operative processes.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour days, Friday through Sunday, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with minimal call obligations
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, two years of relevant experience in surgical technology
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic trauma, joint replacements, robotics, neuro/spine, plastics, ENT, and urology cases; experience as a charge nurse or house supervisor preferred
• Additional Information:
  • Unit notes specify a focus on orthopedic, trauma, neuro/spine, plastics, ENT, and urology procedures, with cases involving robotics and LV1 trauma
  • Lockers, scrubs (blue surgical scrubs provided), and orientation: two days of unit-specific training
  • The hospital maintains flexibility in cancellation policies, with up to four shifts canceled within a 13-week assignment
  • The charting system used is EPIC
  • No float within the same facility; if necessary, floating within Zone 3 (OCH, LUH, SAH, SANS) may be required
  • Must have submitted licensure documentation and be available to start on 07/27/2026
