Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Location: Erie, PA
• Schedule: Nights shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 48 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required prior to first shift; at least two (2) years of bedside clinical experience or equivalent; no specific degree or education requirement specified.
• Additional Information:
  • Performs comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
  • Develops individualized care plans based on assessment data.
  • Responsible for timely documentation of patient care activities and responses.
  • Participates in patient rehabilitation programs and supports discharge planning and patient education.
  • Communicates effectively across care teams to ensure continuity of care.
  • Provides supervision and training for ancillary nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately.
  • Maintains safety standards in patient handling, infectious disease protocols, and work environment hazards.
  • Assumes charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as needed.
  • Commits to ongoing professional development and continuous education.
