Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) in Anna, Illinois. This position involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical floor within a healthcare facility that has a licensed capacity of 25 beds, with typical census ranging from 15 to 18 patients. The role requires managing general Med Surg cases with a focus on medical, rather than post-surgical, treatments. The shift is nights, scheduled for 12 hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: IL Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Associate Degree or Certificate, minimum of 2 years of experience within Medical Surgical specialty, EPIC charting experience, and general Med Surg skill set.
• Preferred Qualifications: Resilient, social candidates with the ability to manage change effectively, and who are hardworking.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within similar units of Medical Surgical scope, not routinely.
• Additional Information: The facility has swing beds used for extended stay rehab, with no high-acuity patients on drips. Scheduled interview days include Monday through Friday, with manager phone interviews and MSP interviews. The position involves every other weekend and holiday rotation.
