Description

Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical (MS) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in the Anna, Illinois area at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care on a 25-bed unit with an emphasis on general medical-surgical skills, managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:5-6. The shift is scheduled for nights, with a commitment of 12 hours per shift, guaranteed 36 hours per week, and includes every other weekend and holiday rotations.

Job Details:

Location: Anna, Illinois
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week
Position Description: Medical Surgical Floor RN provides general medical care on a unit with extended stay rehab beds. No high acuity patients on drips.
Required Qualifications: Illinois Registered Nurse license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Associate Degree or Certificate, minimum of 2 years of experience within the Medical Surgical specialty, EPIC charting experience, reliable, resilient, adaptable, social candidate.
On-Call/Call Back Requirements: None
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Shift Notes: 12-hour night shifts; nights only; start date 07/27/2026.
Additional Information: The facility has a maximum census of 15-18 beds with a nurse/patient ratio of 1:5-6. This position requires a hardworking, adaptable team player comfortable managing change and working in a fast-paced environment.
Interview Availability: Monday through Friday, manager phone interviews and MSP interviews.
