Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position is located in Lafayette, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted standards, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The ICU Nurse provides supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly to patients or through collaboration with healthcare team members, ensuring comprehensive critical care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts, evenings and nights, with schedule noted as "Rotating."
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, including weekends; 3 days per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), minimum of 1 year of relevant ICU experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous ICU nursing experience, Bachelors degree of Nursing preferred.
• Certifications & Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse, BLS certification, ACLS as required for ICU setting.
• Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications. May be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
