Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Burlington, Vermont. This assignment is for 13-16 weeks, requiring a minimum of two years of OR RN experience, including large trauma level 1 unit experience. The role involves working night shifts with a schedule that includes call duties and rotating holidays. EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience from the past two years is required. Flexibility in schedule and proven scrub and circulate skills across a variety of surgical specialties are essential.

Job Details:

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 2 years of OR RN experience, large trauma level 1 experience, EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years, both circulate and scrub skills, ability to scrub all specialties except cardiovascular operation room cases, and must be flexible with schedule to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Prior travel experience required. Must have 2 years of OR RN experience, large trauma level 1 experience, EPIC EMR experience from within the past 2 years, circulating and scrub skills, ability to scrub all specialties except cardiovascular operation room cases.
  • Additional Information: Assignment duration 13-16 weeks, no block schedules, bi-weekly orientations on Monday, all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained, complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type required.
