Job Summary:
A Nurse, Charge Nurse, position is available at an inpatient rehabilitation facility located in Madison, Wisconsin. The role involves providing nursing care to adult patients requiring high-acuity inpatient rehabilitation services. The position is a nights shift, with a focus on managing patient care and coordinating nursing activities in a fast-paced environment that functions similarly to a medical-surgical unit.

Job Details:

• Location: Madison, WI
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule: Nights shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, at least 1 year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environment
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical or inpatient rehabilitation settings related to patient acuity.
• Additional Information: This role is a dual role requiring charge nurse responsibilities. The inpatient rehab hospital can have high acuity at times and operates similarly to a medical-surgical unit. Nurses are expected to assist C.N.As and respond to call lights for patient safety. Orientation sessions are scheduled starting January 6, 2026, with ongoing sessions throughout the year. This position is not open to local candidates.
