Description
Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse position is located in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for cardiovascular patients in a high-acuity environment. The nurse will utilize specialized skills to provide patient-centered care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support positive patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or a valid multi-state compact RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Experience in the clinical area for which the candidate is applying is preferred. Clinical performance competencies must be maintained and validated annually.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field is preferred. Professional certification related to cardiac care or nursing specialization is also preferred.
- Additional Information: The role requires working in a fast-paced Cardiac Cath Lab environment, supporting procedures related to cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, or other cardiovascular interventions. The nurse will be responsible for patient assessment, coordination of care, and documentation consistent with regulatory standards.
