Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse position in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. The nurse will utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to provide high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to the physical and developmental needs of adult patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of Arizona or a compact license, with at least one year of recent clinical experience in an acute care or catheterization lab setting. BLS certification is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred. Additional professional certification related to cardiology or electrophysiology is a plus.
- Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for assessing patient status pre- and post-procedure, assisting with invasive cardiovascular interventions, and documenting care accurately in compliance with policies and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
