Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse opportunity in a healthcare facility located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role involves managing circulating surgical cases, overseeing nursing care within the operating room, and supporting the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients undergoing various procedures. This position offers a full-time schedule with daytime hours, primarily Monday through Friday.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 4-10 hour days, Monday through Friday, from 06:30 to 17:00, with 1-2 on-call shifts per week from 17:00 to 23:00.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); at least 2 years of experience working in a level 1 or 2 trauma center, with proficiency in da Vinci Robot surgery, neuro-spine, cranial, pediatric operating room, ortho trauma, and experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The hospital provides scrubs and dress code details. Travelers must attach required licenses and certifications, include a drivers license and permanent home address matching their ID, and be more than 50 miles from the facility. Local candidates are not accepted. The position is vacant due to internal vacancy and will be filled with a qualified candidate.
