Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse position available in Milwaukee, WI. This role involves providing care to a diverse patient population within a Level III Trauma Center, including cardiac and vascular patients. The position requires strong telemetry skills and experience in a fast-paced acute care environment, with an emphasis on patient monitoring and support.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience, proficiency in cardiac G-tubes (Primacor, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine), heparin, lasix, insulin G-Treat, chest tubes, tracheostomies, telemetry reading, wound care, and holding an active BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC charting system and GE monitors; ability to float within scope of practice to inpatient areas and potentially to ICU as needed.
• Support on the Unit: Includes charge nurse, unit secretary, hospitalist, RT, and centralized telemetry monitoring with tele tech support.
• Orientation: At least one shift to learn workflow.
• Float: All other inpatient areas within scope of practice; occasional float to ICU may occur.
• Additional Information: The unit maintains a fatigue policy limiting work to 60 hours per week or five consecutive 12-hour shifts. No overtime unless approved by management. No on-call duties. Holiday rotations include one summer and one winter shift. Scrub color is flexible, and documentation of pain levels before and after medication administration is required.
