Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Gallatin, Tennessee. The role involves providing care for maternity women and newborns within a Level III Trauma Center environment. The RN will be responsible for circulating during procedures and managing obstetric patient care, working with OB Tracevue charting strips, and participating in scheduled c-sections. Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays, with schedules primarily on night shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: Gallatin, Tennessee
• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery Department
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure in Tennessee, ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications, 1+ years of Labor and Delivery experience, fetal monitoring skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS, Centricity, and Meditech experience.
• Unit Information:
  • Department: Labor & Delivery/Nursey/Postpartum
  • Number of Beds: 5 L&D beds
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1 on Pitocin, 1:2 otherwise
  • Charting: OB Tracevue for strips, may need to perform circulating duties during c-sections
• Additional Information:
  • Must be able to circulate during surgical procedures.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • The facility employs a positive attitude, cooperation, and initiative.
  • Dress Code: Scrubs in any color.
  • No specific experience minimum beyond 1 year required.
