Job Summary
A Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in an upcoming assignment located in Michigan. The role involves providing patient monitoring and care for individuals recovering from anesthesia, with responsibilities including airway management, symptom and pain management, assessment of surgical sites, documentation, and effective communication with the healthcare team. This position is scheduled for days shift hours.

Job Details

• Location: Bay City, Michigan
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (AHA), current state license in Michigan, 2 years PACU experience, and relevant educational or professional credentials
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit setting and familiarity with surgical recovery protocols
• Additional Information: The key responsibilities include continuous monitoring of vital signs and level of consciousness, airway support, pain and symptom control, assessment of surgical sites, accurate documentation, and collaboration with surgical and anesthesia teams. Candidates must have at least 2 years of PACU experience to qualify.
