Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Miami, FL. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the operating room environment, supporting various surgical procedures including joint replacement, ENT, spine, urology, vascular, and plastic surgery. The position requires hands-on participation in patient observation, assessment, and post-operative care, ensuring compliance with hospital standards and policies.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evenings shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications, and have at least 2 years of recent experience in an acute operating room setting. Experience with orthopedic, spine, and joint replacements such as knee and hip procedures is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room), and any Charge RN experience are highly preferred.
• Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for scrubbing and circulating across all service lines, including joint replacements, ENT, orthopedic, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgery. A strong ability to multi-task, excellent bedside manner, and reliability are essential. The role may require rotating weekends, four on-call periods within a four-week cycle, and holiday calls when applicable.
