Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Summit, New Jersey. This position involves delivering comprehensive patient care across adult populations, demonstrating assessment, clinical skills, documentation, and professionalism. The role requires supporting patient education, safety, and unit-specific procedures within a fast-paced surgical environment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 7.5 hours per shift, minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an RN license. Infusion Nurse experience is required. Must be able to start IVs, work with PICC lines, Midlines, and portacaths, draw labs peripherally and from lines, and administer medications including antibiotics, IVIG, blood transfusions, GI and Rheumatoid medications, and iron products. Ability to give subcutaneous and IM injections. BLS certification is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Additional Information: The role involves assessment skills, clinical procedures, documentation, patient satisfaction, safety protocols, and specific duties related to perioperative care and patient education. Candidates will support pre-operative and post-operative assessments, ensure timely completion of patient testing, and evaluate orders for surgical patients.
