Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Nurse in Philadelphia, PA. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a fast-paced interventional radiology environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing procedures such as catheter placements, angiograms, biopsies, and neuro interventional procedures, with a focus on patient safety and efficient care delivery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience, previous travel experience, Certifications: BLS and ACLS, Skills: experience administering and monitoring moderate sedation, comfortable working in high-volume procedural environments, adaptable to changing patient and department needs
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior Emergency Department (ED) and/or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience is strongly preferred, as it enhances critical care capabilities in the interventional radiology setting
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: This role requires rotating call duties with a primary and secondary on-call RN maintained at all times. There are no scheduled weekend or holiday requirements unless assigned to the on-call rotation. The department features 11 holding/recovery beds and 6 procedure rooms with procedures including catheter placements, angiograms, neuro interventions, biopsies, and more.
