Job Summary:
The labor and delivery department, located in Dickson, Tennessee, is seeking qualified healthcare professionals to join their team for an upcoming 8-week assignment starting on 07/27/2026. This facility provides comprehensive obstetric and neonatal care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Candidates will have the opportunity to gain diverse experience in labor, delivery, post-partum, and neonate care.

Job Details:

• Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 48 hours
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Location: 111 Highway 70 East, Dickson, TN, 37055
• Required Qualifications: No minimum experience required. Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and fetal monitoring training are mandatory.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with labor and delivery procedures, fetal monitoring education, ability to manage OB emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage.
• Unit Specifics:
  • Patient ratios include 1:1 active labors, inductions, and cesarean sections; 1:3 for couplet care and newborns until stable; NICU ratio is 1:3, with two NICU nurses required on duty.
  • Equipment includes CPN central monitoring, IV pumps, infant warmers, tele-med robot, bili-blankets, PCA pumps.
  • Documentation system: Meditech and CPN.
  • Staffing includes experienced RNs with approximately 30 years of experience each, forming a supportive team capable of mentoring new staff.
  • Dress code: Pink and/or brown scrubs per the infant security policy.
  • Policies and guidelines are available through the facilitys resources.
