Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pediatric Floor care at a healthcare facility located in Springfield, MA. This position involves providing high-quality inpatient pediatric acute care within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. The RN will support patients from the neonatal period through age 21, managing a diverse range of diagnoses including medical, surgical, oncology, trauma, orthopedic, and behavioral health conditions.
Job Details:
- Location: Springfield, MA
- Shift Schedule: Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), 3 years of nursing experience, licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN), and current credentials to work in the state of Massachusetts
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: No float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The inpatient acute pediatric unit is a 45-bed facility serving a diverse patient population. The unit expects an RN to maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1:4-5. This role involves working every other weekend and holiday.
