Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a busy Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional patient care within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Job Details:
- Location: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801
- Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 51
- Type of Staff: Day shift includes 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, 2 RTs, tech
- Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4
- Equipment: EMR - Cerner
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Education: Valid RN license in North Carolina or eligible for licensure
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience; 0 years minimum experience listed
- Location: Must be willing to work in Asheville, North Carolina
- Schedule:
- Shift Time: Days
- Shift Hours: 12 hours
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Level III or higher NICU settings
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Additional Information:
- The unit requires staff to float to Peds, PICU, and Mother Baby units (baby only)
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
- Work schedule includes every other weekend, with occasional on-call duties
