Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse position available in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of NICU experience and hold the required certifications to ensure delivery of high-quality care in a dynamic environment.
Job Details
- Position: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse
- Location: 509 Biltmore Ave, Asheville, NC 28801
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certified as a Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), at least two years of NICU experience, and valid license to practice in North Carolina.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level III Neonatal ICU procedures and prior experience working in a busy NICU setting.
- Additional Information: The NICU unit features 51 beds with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:4, and utilizes Cerner electronic medical records. Candidates must be detail-oriented and organized. Every other weekend shifts apply, and candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
- Float: Float rotation may be required for patients in Pediatric, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Mother Baby units.
