Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care to infants in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a comprehensive acute care hospital. The position offers an opportunity to work in a renowned facility with a dedicated pediatric unit, supporting staff in delivering high-quality neonatal care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active RN license, a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience at Level III or higher, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: NICU experience of 2 or more years and candidate with NICU-RN certification are highly preferred.
- Additional Information: This role requires candidates to be detail-oriented and organized. The NICU unit features advanced equipment, including electronic medical records via Cerner. Staff must be adaptable to floating areas such as Peds, PICU, and Mother Baby for babies only. The shift involves working every other weekend and potential on-call duties.
