Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Pleasanton, California. This position involves providing expert, hands-on patient care within the emergency department. The RN will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license; current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; effective communication skills in English; 0 years minimum experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Emergency Room (ER) setting; additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are advantageous.
• Additional Information: The role includes creating a healing environment by providing emotional support, managing patient discomforts, and educating patients and their families about illness and recovery. The RN will respond to emergencies by activating protocols, monitor patient responses, and contribute to team efforts to improve patient care and safety through participation in unit programs and meetings. The position emphasizes professional development, lifelong learning, and leadership in nursing practice.
