Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in Jasper, Indiana. This role involves circulating responsibilities within a busy surgical department, supporting various specialties across outpatient and inpatient settings. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, possess strong assessment skills, and be capable of managing diverse surgical cases.

Job Details:

• Location: Jasper, Indiana
• Schedule: Day shifts, with preferred shifts including four 10-hour days from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and availability of 5x8s (10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) or 4x9s (9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.). Shift variations may occur based on unit needs.
• Certifications: Associate Degree or Certificate required; no additional certifications needed at submission.
• Experience: Preference for 2 years of circulating nurse experience in an operating room, including patient charting experience. New graduates with relevant skills may be considered.
• Patient Population: Outpatient and inpatient, all ages and specialties.
• Skillset: Previous OR experience is essential; strong assessment and critical thinking skills required.
• Additional Information:
  • No float rotation required.
  • On-call responsibilities: up to 8 times in a 6-week period with a 30-minute callback.
  • Weekend and holiday work required, up to four days on a weekend call, and scheduled holiday coverage based on need.
  • Scrubs provided; social candidates encouraged.
  • Covid-19 vaccination not required.
  • Start date: 08/03/2026.
  • Minimum guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Work is conducted in a unit with six operating rooms, performing approximately 350-400 cases monthly.
  • The hospital environment is supportive, with a focus on teamwork.
