Psychiatric Unit Nurse Vallejo, CA. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for psychiatric patients in an acute care facility. Job Details

• Schedule: Evening shift, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM; 5 days per week with no set days, typically every other weekend. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, RN licensure in the state of practice required, BLS certification required, at least 1 year of psychiatric experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior acute care facility experience, CPI certification (may be attained on-site).
• Additional Information: The facility is a 61-bed psychiatric care center providing short-term care for children, adolescents, and adults, along with partial hospitalization programs for adults. The nurse will be responsible for patient assessments, developing and implementing care plans, discharge planning, and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
