Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Carthage, Tennessee. The role involves providing care for maternity women and newborns in a critical access hospital setting. The shift is scheduled for nights, with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours, and requires the candidate to work every other weekend rotation or as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification and licensure to work as an RN in Tennessee, ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP, 1+ year of labor and delivery experience, fetal monitoring skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS, experience with Centricity and Meditech systems, strong teamwork and initiative.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must possess the required state-specific checks, including Tennessee Abuse Registry verification prior to start. Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays. The unit features 2 labor beds and 3 postpartum beds, with patient ratios of 1:2. The patient population includes maternity women and newborns.
