Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse (RN) position is available in Lafayette, Indiana. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a busy, multi-specialty surgical environment. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and assisting surgical teams throughout various procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with varying days off from Monday to Friday.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, a minimum of 3 years of experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- Preferred Qualifications: Robotics training, experience with vascular and open heart procedures.
- Additional Information: This position involves working in a surgical unit with 10 operating rooms, supporting a variety of patient cases including general, orthopedic, neuro, gynecology, ENT, robotics, urology, podiatry, vascular, and open heart surgeries. Flexibility, a positive attitude, attentiveness, and the ability to adapt quickly are key traits for success in this role. Scrubs will be provided; appropriate surgical attire is required.
