Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Medical (ICU MEDICAL) registered nurse position in Plano, Texas. This role involves providing specialized critical care in a designated ICU unit, working within a team to deliver high-quality patient care. The position is ideal for experienced RNs seeking a dynamic and fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2+ Years of hospital experience, 2+ Years of specialty experience, ACTIVE RN LICENSE (TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with MEDITECH systems, TNCC, CCRN, TCRN certifications.
• Float: Float rotation may be required based on unit needs.
• Additional Information:
  • Location: 3901 W 15TH STREET, Plano, TX 75075
  • Unit: ICU / CCU with 36 beds (CCU) and 30 beds (Burn Trauma ICU)
  • Patient Ratios: 2:1
  • Staffing: Supervisor on every shift, PCT support
  • Equipment: Varies by patient needs
  • Documentation System: Meditech
  • Procedures performed: Central line and arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside trachs, chest tube insertions
  • Dress code:
    • Scrub color: Royal Blue for RNs
    • Nails: Clean and healthy, no artificial enhancements
    • Hair: Neat and pulled back if shoulder-length or longer
    • Tattoos: Covered whenever possible
    • Piercings: Only ear piercings allowed, others prohibited
