Description
Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Mother/Baby Couplet Care Nurse for a facility located in Tennessee. The role involves providing care on a 12-hour night shift within a maternal and neonatal unit. The nurse must have prior travel experience and a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet staffing needs, especially during the assigned orientation dates and the period surrounding the Epic Go Live. The position may require floating to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Labor & Delivery (L&D) departments as needed.
Job Details
- Location: Clarksville, Tennessee
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); valid Compact or Trauma Nursing Certification (TN) license on file at time of submission; must have at least 2 years of clinical experience, including prior travel experience
- Preferred Qualifications: A certified advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) credential is preferred but not required
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 8/31, 9/14, 9/21, and 9/28, with no orientation on 9/7 due to Labor Day. No time off will be approved from 9/19 to 10/17 due to Epic Go Live. The candidate must be flexible to meet the scheduling needs of the unit and may be asked to assist in NICU and L&D departments. The facility uses Cerner and GE Centricity electronic medical record systems. Weekend shifts are required; no call is necessary.
