Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry at a healthcare organization in Tallahassee, Florida. This position involves providing patient care within a Telemetry unit, with expectations for floating to all units within the medical surgical division as needed. The role requires a commitment to delivering quality nursing care in a busy, teaching facility with a designated stroke and chest pain center.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida license or compact license, BLS certification, at least 2 years of clinical experience, including 2 years of acute medical surgical Telemetry experience. Prior travel experience with at least one assignment is required. EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) training during orientation is required, with testing and potential self-directed training for qualified candidates.
• Preferred Qualifications: AHA ACLS certification and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification are preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The assignment begins on 09/07/2026, with orientation scheduled every Monday. EPIC training will be conducted during the second half of the day at orientation, with testing opportunities available. Successful test-out may exempt candidates from full training. The facility is a trauma level 2, teaching hospital, designated comprehensive stroke center, and chest pain center, with 772 beds and a 39-bed unit.
