Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Emergency Room Nurse to work in Baldwin Park, California. This role involves providing urgent and critical care to patients within the emergency department setting. The position requires commitment to high-quality patient care and adherence to established protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, working 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited nursing program; Licensed Registered Nurse (in the state where care is provided); Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 6 months of hire OR Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field; Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred; demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias preferred; NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred.
• Additional Information: The candidate will be responsible for providing emergent patient care, following the organizations protocols, and maintaining clinical competency in emergency nursing procedures and skills.
