Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Dialysis Unit care in Milwaukee. This 13-week assignment involves delivering high-quality patient care within a dialysis environment. The RN will oversee nursing procedures, supervise support staff, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while providing patient education and discharge planning.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to first shift, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification prior to first shift (if applicable), minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Preferred Qualifications: Specific preferences not listed
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, documents accurately and timely, participates in patient rehabilitation programs, initiates discharge planning and patient education, ensures safety standards are maintained, delegates tasks appropriately, maintains communication with the healthcare team, and actively seeks professional development opportunities.
