Description
Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician located in Lafayette, Indiana. This role involves providing sterilization and processing of medical equipment within a healthcare environment. The position requires diligent adherence to sterilization protocols and support for clinical teams to ensure safe patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with alternating weekends. Weekly guaranteed hours are 40.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Sterile Processing or equivalent, high school diploma or GED, minimum of 1 year of experience in sterile processing, and prior travel experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as CRCST are advantageous.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to complete any necessary education modules prior to the first day of work.
