Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse, Nights The healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse to join the team for night shifts. This role involves caring for adult patients with medical, surgical, and oncology needs, utilizing electronic medical record systems, and adhering to clinical standards to promote patient safety and quality care.

Job Details

Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification, and at least 2 years of nursing experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Oncology units. Valid license in the applicable state or eligible pending license.
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting on 11/02/2026 and ending on 02/01/2027.
Additional information:
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system is required.
- Open to first-time travelers.
- Experience with chemotherapy administration, interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing ports is preferred.
- Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs.
- The patient census is approximately 19 adult patients per day.
- Involves working on a 28-room Medical-Oncology unit with dedicated end-of-life suites.
- No local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted for this assignment.
- RTO (Request for Time Off) policy allows a maximum of 7 days with approval; no RTO allowed during the first week.
- Must have completed labs within 48-72 hours of signing and modules pre-start.
- For facility compliance, ACLS certification is required for certain locations.
