Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Miami, Florida. This position involves working in a high-acuity, fast-paced adult and pediatric emergency department with a capacity of over 150 beds. The ER Nurse is responsible for providing immediate, quality triage, and patient care, handling admission work for boarded patients, and may be required to float within the facility as needed. Prior travel experience in a Level I trauma facility and certification in ACLS, BLS, and CPI are required.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida or Compact license, AHS ACLS, BLS, and CPI certifications, prior experience in Level I trauma ER, minimum of 2 years of ER experience, proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record system, must pass EKG exam during orientation, passed orientation in Miami, FL, with no local candidates accepted
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience in a Level I trauma ER setting
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Orientation scheduled for September 8th only; candidates will work every other weekend or alternating weekends and holidays as needed. Scrub colors required: Royal Blue. Must be able to handle admission work for boarded patients. May be required to float as needed within the health system.
