Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position located in Miami, Florida. This role involves working in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department with a capacity for adult and pediatric patients. The ER team is responsible for providing lifesaving care, performing admission work for boarded patients, and adhering to established clinical protocols. The position requires prior travel experience in a Level I trauma facility and certification in ACLS, BLS, and CPI.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida or Compact State license; minimum of 2 years of ER experience; prior travel experience in a Level I trauma facility; current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and CPI; must pass an EKG exam during orientation; experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR); ability to handle admission work for boarded patients; must be able to work every other weekend or alternating weekends and holidays
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level I trauma setting
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Orientation begins on 09/08/2026. Scrub colors are royal blue. The emergency department features 60 exam rooms, four resuscitation rooms, six triage rooms, 12 fast-track rooms, 50 observation rooms, and seven acute care rooms. Full radiology suite and onsite pharmacy are available to facilitate rapid patient care. Must handle adult and pediatric ER cases efficiently in a high-volume, high-acuity environment.
