Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Tucson, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients within the PCU. It requires utilizing professional nursing standards and providing high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies.

Job Details

  • Location: Tucson, AZ
  • Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required. Experience in a clinical setting for which the applicant is applying is desired. Must maintain clinical performance competencies as demonstrated through annual validations.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional certification related to specialty preferred.
  • Additional Information: The RN will monitor and assess patient conditions, carry out physician orders, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in patient education and discharge planning. The role may include supervising licensed and non-licensed staff, providing spiritual support, and contributing to quality improvement activities in patient care.
