Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This assignment involves providing compassionate and efficient care in a Level 3 trauma emergency department. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering patient care utilizing their clinical expertise and adhering to hospital policies and state guidelines to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 9:00 AM 9:00 PM; 12 hours per day, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 2+ years of ER experience, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) (preferred), ability to start ASAP, and successful completion of fingerprinting for all travel demands
- Additional Information: The role requires floating to different areas within the emergency department as needed. Proper uniform attire is full scrubs in any color, and electronic medical records are maintained via MedHost (EDIS). The RN is accountable for active patient care, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment to promote patient safety and quality care. This position is a contractor replacement.
