Description
Job Summary:
This ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nursing position is located in a non-profit community hospital with 226 beds and 11 ICU beds. The contract is for 19 weeks, covering holiday shifts, with a focus on providing advanced critical care. The role involves managing a diverse patient population with complex medical needs in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Location: YAKIMA, Washington
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/08/2026
- Required Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), 0 years of experience, Washington State licensure or eligibility, and certification requirements met.
- Patient Types: CHF, Respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, DM, blood product administration, bipap, CVA overflow, post-cath patients, and surgical vascular, abdominal, GI, among others.
- Skills Required: Experience with above below patient types, chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, monitoring femoral arterial sheaths; preferred - Art line, Impella, and/or IABP experience.
- Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS
- EMR: EPIC
- Floating: Telemetry, Tele, Med-Surg, Neurology-Medical units; float rotation may be required.
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend.
- Shift Times: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM shifts.
- Scrub Color: Any professional color.
