Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN requiring a WA State or Compact RN license and current TNCC and NIHSS certifications for a night shift assignment.
Details
- ICU setting within a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule (1900-0730), 3x12s, 36 hours per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Required to float as a sitter and may float in rotation
Requirements
- Active WA State or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Must adhere to Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice
Additional Information
- Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit standards
- Develop, implement, and reassess individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures and treatments
- Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs
- Document care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
- Perform holistic ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately
- Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
- Educate patients and families on relevant health information
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
