Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technologist position is located in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves supporting invasive cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, invasive computed tomography, and ultrasound cases. The position offers an opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment within a recognized comprehensive stroke center and a designated Magnet hospital, with a focus on vascular and cardiac patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), experience with all cardiac diagnoses, especially vascular patients, IV drug administration, chest tubes, cerebrovascular accidents (CVA). Must have ICU or Emergency Department experience; prior invasive radiology (IR) experience or moderate sedation experience is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, familiarity with vascular procedures and invasive ultrasound cases.
• Additional Information: This position involves assistance with invasive cardiac procedures, using specialized equipment such as IV pumps, specialty beds, bedside monitors, and telemetry devices. The role supports a trauma and stroke program, with policies in place for unit-specific procedures and safety.
