Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Englewood, Colorado. This position involves providing high-quality care to post-operative burn and flap patients within a busy acute care hospital setting. The RN will work 12-hour day shifts on a unit with a focus on wound and dressing care, utilizing advanced equipment, and supporting a collaborative healthcare team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license, Bachelor's degree or diploma in Nursing, at least 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience, successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and current licensure to practice in Colorado.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with burn care, wound care, ostomy care, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Unit Information:
  • Number of beds: 18-20
  • Staff: 35 team members including charge nurses, RNs, LPNs, and PCTs
  • Patient Ratio: 6:1 with LPNs
  • Equipment: Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacuums, PCA pumps
  • EMR System: Meditech
  • Typical Procedures: Wound and dressing care for post-op burn and flap patients
