Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse located in a healthcare facility. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, provide patient education and counseling, and execute therapy and treatment plans to support patient well-being.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 3-12 hour mid/nights, with weekend shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association), TNCC, NIHSS, and one year of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Responsibilities include evaluating health status through ongoing data collection, providing health teaching and counseling, executing delegated medical functions, monitoring therapy and treatment plans, documenting according to regulatory guidelines, and utilizing resources efficiently.
• Additional Information: The nurse may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications and may be placed on-call during a shift.
