Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position in Nashville, Tennessee. The role involves providing specialized care within the Labor and Delivery department under Women's Services. The nurse will assist in OB and assist operational procedures, adhering to safety and clinical standards specific to the department.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications including BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS, STABLE, AWHONN (Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) at an advanced level, NRP, and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or MAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior). All certifications must be obtained prior to the start of the assignment.

- Additional Information:
- Experience in OB Assist or related OB clinical experience preferred.
- Compliance clearance is required 10 days before orientation.
- Orientation may be scheduled for RN specialties including Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Forensics, Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Postpartum, and Labor & Delivery.
- The contract includes a policy that more than three call outs during the contracted period may lead to termination of the assignment.
- The facility is able to cancel one shift every four weeks during the contract term.
