Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse (RN) in Salinas, California. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. The role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to shifting clinical needs, with a focus on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN), California RN license, recent Epic experience (minimum of six (6) to twelve (12) months within the past year), current ACLS, PALS, BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards, and two (2) years of emergency department experience are required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner certification, and experience in specialty areas such as emergency nursing.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments, developing and managing individualized care plans, discharge planning, patient and family education, and acting as charge nurse or preceptor as assigned. Flexibility in activities and the ability to float within similar departments within the cluster are highly desirable. RTO during Thanksgiving will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
