Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse Remote Location. This dynamic role involves working in a 25-bed adult surgical unit that provides care for general surgical and transplant patients. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience, prior travel experience in a large Level I trauma facility, and familiarity with surgical procedures. The candidate must hold a Florida license or have a compact license on file at the time of submission. The shift is scheduled for nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on September 8, 2026, and ending on October 20, 2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida license or compact license on file at the time of submission; 2 years of experience; prior travel experience in a large Level I trauma facility; surgical experience is preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in adult surgical and transplant units, familiarity with general surgeries including gastric, liver, colorectal, and genitourinary illnesses, plastic surgery, or vascular services
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Must have adult surgical experience in a high-acuity environment. The unit primarily cares for transplant recipients who have received kidney, liver, or pancreas transplants older than one year. The facility operates in a fast-paced environment with a focus on excellent patient care and customer service, emphasizing patient satisfaction metrics such as HCAHPS.
