Description
Job Summary:
A Cardiac Cath Lab nurse is needed in a metropolitan area to support a high-acuity Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory within a teaching hospital. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a Level 2 Trauma designated facility that also functions as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center. The position offers an opportunity to develop expertise within a dynamic clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Florida or compact license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and moderate sedation certification (less than 1 year old). No prior travel experience, with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in the specialty area.

- Float: Float rotation may not be required.
- Additional Information: The selected candidate will be expected to attend EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) training during the second half of the day at orientation. Testing out of the training is available; those who do not pass will need to complete full training before working independently on their unit. The role is situated at a teaching hospital with a total of 772 beds, supporting a range of high-level cardiovascular procedures.
