Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Asheville, NC. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical unit. The position requires a broad surgical knowledge across various service lines, including general, gynecology, robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma. The role supports the delivery of quality patient care within a dynamic surgical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, broad surgical knowledge, experience in service lines to include general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn and trauma, and at least 1 year of related clinical experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner documentation system and variable scheduling; familiarity with unit-specific policies and guidelines is a plus
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The position offers an opportunity to work with new technology and experienced staff, with flexible scheduling options available. The unit values comprehensive surgical skills and adaptability to various procedures.
