Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse (RN) Nights Denver, Colorado. This travel assignment involves providing specialized nursing care on a telemetry unit within a hospital setting. The role requires engaging with a dynamic team to deliver quality patient care, with emphasis on team collaboration and patient safety.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum 1-year current acute care hospital telemetry experience, BLS & ACLS certifications, and located within a feasible commuting distance
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for post-operative CABG patients, Meditech electronic medical record system experience
- Responsibilities include programming and monitoring GE telemetry systems, performing IV and Foley starts, chest tube removal, and supporting patient recovery procedures
- Typical patient ratios are 4 or 5:1 on the telemetry unit
- Outgoing, team-oriented personality and willingness to take initiative are valued traits
