Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse specializing in postpartum and nursery care is needed at a healthcare facility location. This role involves providing high-quality patient care within the labor, delivery, and postpartum units, with responsibilities including float coverage and rotating shifts. The position offers a dynamic schedule that includes day and night shifts on a rotating basis.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour day/night rotating shifts, every third weekend. Weekly minimum of 36 hours.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice, willingness to wait for license submission, BLS (American Heart Association), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and ACLS (American Heart Association) certificates; minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery or postpartum/nursery setting; location within the specified area.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience floating to medial surgical units, flexibility to float as needed, preferred scrub color based on nurse preference.
• Additional Information: Position involves care for 4-bed labor and postpartum units with 1:1 and 1:3 patient ratios, respectively. Will float to medical-surgical units when obstetrics is closed. Rotation occurs every 3 weeks, typically every third weekend. Patient charting is conducted through EPIC electronic medical record system. Preferences include scrub color based on nurse choice.
