Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in an urban healthcare facility. This position involves delivering comprehensive care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role requires demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts) with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Certifications and Education: Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and valid Arizona nursing license.
- Experience: At least 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Charge Nurse experience (additional $3/hour), experience with Cerner electronic medical record system preferred, willingness to float.
- Shift requires providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care, maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, and managing patient care priorities.
- The position is for one (1) RN, created as a replacement for a contractor, with a start date of 08/31/2026 and an end date of 11/30/2026.
